Tim Newman

Tim has extensive experience in private equity backed companies, including 10+ years as Chief Financial Officer and two successful exits. Prior to shifting to private equity companies, Tim began his career with Arthur Andersen and held senior level finance positions at two $1B revenue public companies. He joined EMSAR in June 2018 as CFO and led the integration of EMSAR in early 2019. Tim was promoted to President in May 2019, assuming oversight of Field and Depot Operations, Training, and Quality. Has led the expansion of Gross Margin from 32% in 2Q 2019 to 39% in 1Q 2020. During Tim’s tenure the company has also been able to trim 15% of overall overhead and migrate to single IT platforms for both Operations and Accounting. Tim earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.
