Asset Tagging

EMSAR Tech affixes EBT barcode labels to customers inventory, providing visual codes that can be scanned to help client manage and request service as required. Customer is able to view the status, location and condition of all medical devices via EMSAR’s proprietary eBiotrack system.

Inspection / Operational Testing

Inspection includes, visually inspecting the device, electrically safety testing and operational testing (if applicable) to evaluate the Physical Condition, Labeling/Markings, LED’s, displays and overall condition of the device. EMSAR technicians will also complete Basic functional checks, safety checks and document the as found and final condition of the medical device.

Electrical Safety Test

Electrical Safety Testing consist of performing the following tests with calibrated test equipment specifically designed for medical electrical safety testing (NFPA99, IEC 62353): Ground Wire Continuity, Earth Resistance testing, Earth Leakage Current Test.

Calibration Testing

Calibration testing includes verifying a device’s accuracy against a set standard with a verified and/or calibrated analyzer, simulator, or meter. This ensures that the measurements and outputs from the device is consistent and repeatable.

Preventative Maintenance

EMSAR’s preventative maintenance services includes the following: cleaning/disinfection and visually inspection of the exterior/physical condition, cables/connectors and safety/UDI labels. Functional checks are completed along with electrical safety testing, and replacement of recommended parts, seals or filters. Post preventive maintenance performance/calibration checks are completed with documentation of services with applicable pm checklists.

Corrective Maintenance aka Repair

EMSAR’s corrective maintenance involves thorough investigation to perform an initial assessment, triaging and troubleshoot the device to conduct fault diagnosis to identify the root cause of the failure. Upon identification, repair or replacement of approved parts may be required to return the unit to normal functioning service. Cleaning and lubrications with post repair testing and documentation are completed.

Virtual Tech

EMSAR’s Innovative offering that allows our customers access to a knowledgeable biomedical technician to virtually troubleshoot and diagnose medical device service needs. 70% of the time we are able to resolve the issue virtually, saving our customers valuable device downtime and service costs.

Depot

EMSAR’s depot repair service structure provides our customers with a convenient way to ship medical devices directly to us for repair and return.
