Kim Martinez is a seasoned quality and regulatory professional with over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry. Throughout her career, she has worked across a wide range of medical device types and regulatory classifications, building deep expertise in quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and compliance within highly regulated environments.
Kim has extensive experience leading and managing audits, as well as driving complex remediation projects, helping organizations strengthen their quality systems to meet global regulatory expectations. Her background spans both strategic leadership and hands-on execution, giving her a practical, real-world perspective on quality and regulatory challenges.
She currently resides in Westminster, Colorado, and serves as a Lecturer at the University of Colorado, where she teaches a Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs Certificate Program within the Department of Bioengineering. In this role, Kim is passionate about preparing the next generation of professionals with applied, industry-relevant knowledge grounded in real regulatory and quality system experience.
